I have just come off the Fogo ferry. Lewisporte or back to Gander?＋
Lewisporte is the shorter of the two: 74 km, against 86 km back to the Gander terminal. If you are flying out, Gander is where you are going anyway. If you have a night left, Lewisporte is nearer and is a town with services.
Is there anywhere to stop between Farewell and Lewisporte?＋
